We're Off to Loot the Treasury!

To the Treasury we go!
With bags and cases and trunks in tow
To be filled with bills and bonds and dough
With our taxes cut to a dangerous low
And the poor folks screwed by their HMO
With the lobbyist cash piling up like snow
Let the corporate interests run the show
And determine where our troops will go
Oh..... what a glorious era this is!

Loot the Treasury we will!
We’ll take every bond and coin and bill
And leave nothing there but an eerie still
No bid contracts let us torture and kill
There’s no high like the luscious bloodlust thrill
And we’ll spy on folks who don’t take the pill
Or the liberal jerks on Capitol Hill
Who are foolish enough to deny our will
Still… what a glorious era this is!

To the Treasury we ride!
We’re after the delicious stuff inside
The bills and the bonds and the debt we hide
Our will is a force that won’t be denied
It’s a glorious radical right wing tide
Nobody cares that we killed and we lied
And the people shrug when we tell them we spied
You’d think they all were hypnotized….
It’s positively supersized…. What a glorious era this is!
