I am just a humble Texas boy
Sent by Jesus to save the world
I am just a humble Texas boy
On a mission from God to spread His word

There must be some divine intervention
For how else could a man
Who can’t pay attention
Rise to the top of the political profession?

Or maybe there is some other explanation
For my unlikely rise to power
To the head of the nation
Could it be… a deal with Satan?

I am just a simple Texas man
Sent by Satan to enact his plan
I am just a simple Texas man
Doing the Devil’s work whenever I can

How else can you explain the reign of evil
Murder, kidnapping, war
And lurid torture for thrill
Am I the vessel for the beastmaster’s will?

Or maybe my mission is to save the world
From Godlessness, evil, sin
And the soulless herd
Do I pronounce the good or the evil words?
